This disclaimer applies to all products sold by THE TEXTILE LLC at textileco.shop. Please read it alongside the care guidance on each product page.

Food-contact products

Our food-contact items — including beeswax food wraps and reusable bowl covers — are made with food-safe, food-grade materials that comply with U.S. FDA food-contact regulations (21 CFR). They are intended for covering and wrapping foods such as fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, baked goods and bowls.

• Do not use with raw meat, raw fish or very hot food. This helps avoid cross-contamination and protects the beeswax coating.
• They are not a substitute for refrigeration or airtight storage.
• Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and air dry. Do not use hot water, the microwave or a dishwasher.

We make no claims that any product extends food freshness by a specific amount, has antibacterial properties, or provides any health benefit beyond its intended use as a reusable cover or wrap.

Heat-resistant products

Trivets, oven mitts and pot holders are designed to provide insulation for normal kitchen use up to the temperatures noted on each product page. They are not fireproof. Always use common sense around hot surfaces, ovens and open flames, and never leave textiles in contact with a heat source.

Natural materials

Linen and cotton are natural fibers. Slight variations in color, weave and texture are normal and not defects. Follow the care instructions to get the longest life from your textiles.

General

Products are provided for ordinary household use. THE TEXTILE LLC is not liable for damage or injury resulting from misuse or failure to follow the care and use guidance provided. This disclaimer does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
